Our removal services include the safe and efficient transportation of your goods from one location to another. The exact services we provide will depend on the details agreed upon in your booking confirmation. We offer a variety of services, including local moves, long-distance moves, and specialized handling of delicate or valuable items.
We will make every effort to adhere to the agreed-upon schedule, though factors such as weather, traffic conditions, or unforeseen delays may impact the timing of our service. In such cases, we will communicate with you promptly to make alternative arrangements where possible. It is your responsibility to provide accurate information about your move, including access to the premises and any restrictions or difficulties that may affect our ability to perform the service.
3. Specialist Items

These items include, but are not limited to, pianos, antiques, valuable artworks, fragile items, and any item over 200 pounds (90 kg). If you have any such items, you must notify us in writing at the time of booking, so that we can assess whether we are able to handle them and, if so, make the necessary arrangements. Failure to disclose these items may result in damage, for which we will not be liable, or additional costs for specialized equipment and personnel.
We reserve the right to decline to move certain items if we believe it is unsafe or impractical, or if we do not have the appropriate equipment or expertise.
4. Your Obligations and Warranties
By engaging our services, you agree to the following obligations and provide the following warranties:
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information about the goods being moved, including their nature, quantity, and any specific handling requirements.
- Packing: You are responsible for ensuring that all items are properly packed and secured for transit, unless you have contracted us to provide packing services. Fragile items should be clearly marked, and hazardous materials should not be included unless explicitly agreed upon.
- Permits and Access: You are responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained for the move (e.g., parking permits) and that our team has unimpeded access to the pickup and delivery locations. Any delays caused by lack of access or permits may result in additional charges.
- Presence During Move: You, or an authorized representative, must be present at both the pick-up and delivery locations to supervise the move, provide directions, and ensure all items are accounted for.
- Ownership and Authority: You warrant that you are the legal owner of the goods being moved, or that you have obtained the necessary permissions to move them.
5. Delivery
We will do our best to deliver your goods within the agreed timeframes. However, circumstances outside our control, such as traffic, weather conditions, road closures, or mechanical failures, may cause delays. We will keep you informed of any such issues and work to mitigate any delays.
Upon delivery, it is your responsibility to inspect your goods for any damage or missing items. Any issues should be reported to us immediately. If you are unavailable to receive the delivery at the agreed time and location, we may charge additional fees for storage or redelivery.
6. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or reschedule your booking by giving us at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled moving date. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of may apply. If we have already dispatched our team or begun the service, the cancellation fee may include compensation for labor and resources already used.
Refunds of deposits for cancelled services will be handled based on the timing and reason for the cancellation. If you have paid in advance and cancel within the allowed timeframe, we will issue a refund minus any applicable fees.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your move due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, road closures, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will work with you to find an alternative date or issue a full refund.
7. Payment and Deposits (Local Moves, General)
A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. This deposit will be applied toward the final cost of the move. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
For local moves, payment must be made in full on the day of the move, either before or immediately after the completion of the service. We accept payments by credit card, bank transfer, or cash. Failure to make timely payment may result in additional fees or withholding of your goods.
If any additional services are requested on the day of the move (e.g., additional packing, storage, etc.), these will be billed separately and must be paid in full before the goods are delivered.
8. Vehicle Sizes
We will select the appropriate size of the vehicle based on the information provided by you during the booking process. If the volume of goods exceeds the estimated capacity, we may need to make multiple trips or use a larger vehicle, which could incur additional costs.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate details about the quantity and dimensions of your goods, as well as access limitations at the pick-up and delivery locations (e.g., narrow streets, low bridges, etc.). If special arrangements are required, they should be discussed with us in advance.
9. Method of Carriage and Subcontractors
We reserve the right to determine the most appropriate method of transporting your goods. This includes the choice of vehicle, route, and any other logistical considerations. We may use a variety of methods, such as trucks, vans, or trailers, depending on the nature of the goods and the distance of the move.
Additionally, we reserve the right to subcontract part or all of the services to trusted third parties. Any subcontractors we use will be subject to the same high standards of care and professionalism that we adhere to, and they will be fully insured to handle your goods. You will not be charged extra for any subcontracted services unless agreed upon in advance.
10. Insurance & Loss / Damage to Property
We carry basic insurance coverage for your goods while they are in our care. This covers loss or damage that occurs due to our negligence during the course of the move. However, this coverage is limited, and we recommend that you obtain additional insurance for high-value items or items of sentimental importance.
In the event of loss or damage, you must notify us in writing within after the delivery. We will investigate the claim and, if necessary, compensate you according to the terms of our insurance policy. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the amount covered by our insurance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We are not liable for damage to items that are not packed by us, or for damage resulting from inadequate packing, unless you have hired us to provide packing services.
11. Risk and Title
The risk of loss or damage to your goods passes to you upon delivery at the destination address. Once your goods are unloaded and delivered, they are no longer under our care, and any subsequent damage or loss is your responsibility.
However, the title of the goods remains with you at all times. We do not assume ownership of your goods, nor do we have any rights to them beyond what is necessary to fulfill our obligations under this agreement.
12. Loss or Damage – Private Removals and Storage
For private removals, we take every precaution to ensure the safe handling and transportation of your goods. If you believe your goods are worth more than our coverage allows, we encourage you to arrange additional insurance.
We are not responsible for damage to items that have not been properly packed by us or for items that are inherently fragile or susceptible to damage (e.g., glass, ceramics, etc.). We will take reasonable care with such items, but cannot guarantee their safety during the move unless we have packed them.
13. Loss or Damage – Commercial Removals and Storage
For commercial removals, our liability for loss or damage is similar to that for private removals, but may be subject to additional terms depending on the nature of the goods and the specific requirements of the commercial move.
We will take all reasonable precautions to protect your property, but are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of nature, fire, theft, or damage during storage.
14. Packing Materials
We can supply packing materials at an additional cost, including boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and other protective materials. You may either purchase these materials from us directly or choose to source them elsewhere.
If you choose to pack your own goods, it is your responsibility to ensure that they are packed securely and appropriately for transit. We will not be liable for damage to goods that have been inadequately packed by you or another party, even if the materials were provided by us. Proper packing is essential to avoid damage during transport, and we encourage you to seek our advice if you are unsure about the best methods for packing specific items.
If you decide to hire us for packing services, we will provide the necessary materials and expertise to pack your goods securely. However, please note that fragile items and those with sentimental or high value should be highlighted to us so that we can take extra precautions.
15. Packing and Unpacking Services – Hire a Packer
Our packing and unpacking services are designed to take the stress out of your move by ensuring that your items are safely and efficiently packed for transit. If you hire us for these services, our team will carefully pack your belongings using high-quality materials and methods to reduce the risk of damage.
We offer flexible packing options, including full-service packing (where we pack everything in your home or office), partial packing (where we pack selected items or rooms), and unpacking services at your destination. The cost for these services will be included in your quote, and any additional requirements should be discussed and agreed upon before the move.
When unpacking services are provided, we will place items in their designated areas, as directed by you. We will also remove any packing materials from your premises unless otherwise agreed. Please note that our responsibility for your goods ends once they have been unpacked and placed in the designated location, and any subsequent damage or loss is your responsibility.
16. Storage Services
We offer both short-term and long-term storage solutions for your goods. Whether you need storage for a few days or several months, we provide secure, climate-controlled facilities to keep your items safe. The cost of storage will depend on the volume of goods, the duration of storage, and any specific requirements you may have, such as access to the items during the storage period.
When placing items in storage, we will inventory and label all goods to ensure accurate tracking. You will receive a copy of the inventory for your records. Our liability for loss or damage while your goods are in storage is limited to the coverage provided by our insurance, and we encourage you to take out additional insurance if needed.
To retrieve your items from storage, you must provide us with sufficient notice to arrange for their release and delivery. Any outstanding storage fees must be paid in full before we release the goods. If you fail to pay the storage fees, we reserve the right to retain your goods until payment is made.
For long-term storage, please note that regular inspections of the stored items are your responsibility. We will not be liable for damage caused by factors such as deterioration over time, pests, or other environmental factors unless such damage is due to our negligence.
